Rugged Charm II

The medium of alcohol ink parallels so beautifully with the Rugged Charm of the North shore of Lake Superior.  Just like the medium, this part of our incredible Canadian Landscape (like so many parts) provides incredible beauty in its unpredictable, and natural wildness.  When I look at this painting, I feel the wind, the spray, the power of the waves, and the security of the rock.  It puts things in perspective and fills me with hope and an enthusiasm for life!

Rugged Charm ll was painted in 2021 and is a 12x12" alcohol ink original mounted on a birch panel.  It is sealed with a varnish and UV protectant, (but alcohol ink should never be placed in direct sunlight).
